Amberleigh House

Amberleigh House is the home of Lorraine and Garry, and offers a warm welcome and comfortable accommodation. Ideally situated in a quiet cul de sac, and only a short walking distance to Tattersalls, Newmarket town centre and Newmarket railway station.  So whether you would like to visit the Horseracing Museum, or the local shops, restaurants and bars you are only a 10 minute walk away. We are also only a 5 minute drive to the Links Golf Club and the Rowley Mile racecourse, and a short walk from the courtesy buses to the races.

If you want to venture further and explore East Anglia, Newmarket is ideally located to access Cambridge, Ely, Bury St Edmunds, Thetford Forest, and the Imperial War Museum at Duxford.

Staying at Amberleigh House you are also only a 5 minute walk (and very short cycle ride!) from the rolling Suffolk countryside. Garry being a keen sportsman and cyclist understands the requirements of the cyclists and sports people among you. For cyclists, we offer secure bike storage, work shop and bike wash facilities.

All our rooms are double's, with en-suite facilities including a walk in shower. The rooms have been recently refurbished with the aim to make your stay as comfortable as possible.  With each room at opposite ends of the landing we hope to reduce any disturbance from other guests, so you can relax after a busy day.

Rooms are available for occupation from 2.00pm on day of arrival, with check-out by 11.00am on day of departure.

We have sufficient off-road parking at the front of the house for guests.

We offer a full English breakfast in our spacious dining room. Breakfast is served between 7.00 and 9.00am on weekdays and between 8.00 and 9.30am at weekends.

We also cater for vegetarians and vegans, and can offer a gluten free alternative. Please let us know when booking if you have any dietary requirements and we will do our best to accommodate.

We are as allergy friendly as possible, and we are a pet free house. Sorry - no pets.

Children are welcome over the age of 16.
